Ağustos 2019 Broker raporlarına göre bu hafta satışı yapılan dökmecilerde  YASA Denizciliğe ait YASA NESLİHAN 'ın satışı gözüküyor.
The VLCC “ENERGY R” (319,012 tdw, Built 2003 Hyundai Samho, MAN-B&W) and her sister vessel “POWER D” (same year) have been concluded on subjects for US$ 28.5 million each. Navios’ “NAVE ELECTRON” (305,178 dwt, Built Daewoo 2002, B&W) has achieved about US$ 26.5 million.
The active turnover in the product carrier sector continues. Premuda is acquiring the Japanese-owned “PIONEER EXPRESS” (47,370 tdw, Built 2009 Onomichi, epoxy, 4 pumps, MAN-B&W) for US$ 16 million. Eitzen is selling the Croatian-built “TEAM TARANTELLA” (46,764 tdw, Built 2002 Brodotrogir, IMO II/III, epoxy 14 tanks/pumps, twin Mak main engs – ss due 9/2022) for in excess of US$ 8 million. UAE-based buyers are paying US$ 5.5 million for “THEONI” (47,198 tdw, Built 1997 Onomichi, IMO III, epoxy, 4 pumps, MAN-B&W – next ss 11/2022).
The BDI lost ground again this week closing at 1788 (1937), down 7.6%. Cape size daily T/C rates ended the week at US$ 25,749 (27,145).
Byzantine Maritime has sold Kamsarmax “MARINA S” (82,740 tdw, Built 2012 STX, China, MAN-B&W – ss passed 6/2017) to other Greek interests for US$ 19 million. The vessel was acquired by Byzantine at auction in South Africa in November 2016 for US$ 14.95 million.
Chinese buyers are paying US$ 11.5 million each for “BETIS” (79,700 tdw, Built 2010 New Century, MAN-B&W) and sister vessel “DORA SCHULTE”. The vessels had been marketed for sale with the balance of index-linked timecharters to Oldendorff Carriers.
An older Kamsarmax, “YASA NESLIHAN” (82,849 dwt, Built Tsuneishi Fukuyama 2005, MAN-B&W – next ss due 6/2020) has been sold to Greek buyers for US$ 11.3 million.         
Ultramax “GH ROUGH HABIT” (63,301 tdw, Built 2012 Yangzhou Dayang, cranes 4 x 35 tons, MAN-B&W) has gone to GriegMaas for US$ 16.6 million. This follows the same buyers’ purchase of the sister “GH FRANKEL” in May.
Supramax “MERIT TRADER” (58,175 tdw, Built 2014 Shin Kurushima, cranes 4 x 30 tons, MAN-B&W) has achieved US$ 19 million. The two year older “HINODE MARU” (58,630 tdw, Built 2012 Kawasaki, cranes 4 x 30 tons, MAN-B&W – next ss 11/2022, next dd 6/2020) is going to Alma Navigation for US$ 16.45 million.
Cebu-built “NORD MANATEE” (57,982 tdw, Built 2010 Tsuneishi Cebu, cranes 4 x 30 tons, MAN-B&W – next ss 5/2022, next dd 5/2020) has been purchased by East Med for US$ 13.4 million.
Sold at auction in Greece, “BLUE CAT” (56,956 tdw, Built 2009 Zhejiang Zhenghe, cranes 4 x 30 tons, MAN-B&W) has gone to Greek buyers for US$ 9 million. “MIA-S” (56,835 tdw, Built 2010 Jiangsu Hantong, cranes 4 x 35 tons, MAN-B&W – last ss 1/2015)
has obtained US$ 10.2 million.
The gearless “ASIATIC GLORY” (1,155 TEU, 12,545 dwt, Built Sedef, Turkey 2006, MAN-B&W) and sister “ASIATIC JADE” (Built 2005) have obtained US$ 4.7 million each.
Product carriers – Sovcomflot has ordered three 51,000 dwt LNG-fuelled product carriers at Russian shipyard Zvesda Shipbuilding; the vessels will enter 20-year charters a/c Novatek.
MRs – Golden Energy Management has ordered two option two 50,000 dwt MR product carriers at STX, China. The two firm vessels are due to be delivered late 2020/early 2021 at an estimated US$ 37 million each.
LPG – Dae Sun Shipbuilding, Korea is to build a 3,500 cbm pressurized LPG carrier for Korean domestic owner Sangji Shipping, a subsidiary of GS Caltex. Delivery is scheduled for 1Q 2021, contract price “below US$ 20 million”.
Politics – the Energizing American Shipbuilding Act has been reintroduced in Washington with the eventual aim of requiring increased percentages of U.S. seaborne oil and LNG  exportsto be carried on U.S. flagged, built and crewed vessels, thereby requiring in the long term increased domestic construction of new ships.
